PID Control of a DC Motor (MATLAB & Simulink)
Implemented and analyzed PID control strategies for a DC motor.
Compared manual tuning, Ziegler–Nichols tuning, and MATLAB’s pidtune method.
Evaluated system stability using Bode plots and Root Locus.
3D Object Tracking with Extended Kalman Filter (EKF)
Implemented a 3D Extended Kalman Filter to track an object moving along a complex 3D trajectory. Estimated position and velocity in 3D space from noisy measurements. Visualized performance using 3D trajectory plots, velocity tracking, and estimation error analysis.
Digital Filters
Implementation of various digital filters in MATLAB, including Low-pass, High-pass, Band-pass, Notch, and Multi-band filters.
PWM Signal (Breadboard)
Built a PWM signal generator circuit using a 555 timer on a breadboard to regulate the speed of a DC motor.
Buck Converter PCB Design
Designed and simulated a DC-DC buck converter PCB. Selected appropriate inductor/capacitor values, optimized switching frequency, and ensured thermal stability.
